The lug butterfly valve is recognized as one of the industry's most durable resilient-seated valves, suitable for diverse applications. It is available in tapped-lug designs and constructed from a range of materials, featuring a one-piece body that minimizes weight while maximizing strength. A unique stem-hole design maintains a dry stem journal, and its hard-backed seat ensures easy installation, reliable operation, and field-replaceability without special tools. Sizes range from 2 to 12 inches.
Engineered for long-term, maintenance-free service, this valve is widely used across industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, water and wastewater, power, and mining. It provides bi-directional sealing at full rated pressure and includes an integral flange seal molded into the seat edge, compatible with ASME weld neck, slip-on, threaded, socket, and “stub end” type C flanges. The valve body meets ASME Class 150 rating (285 psi non-shock), with wafer bodies self-centering in ASME Class 150 flange patterns.
