U type butterfly valves are widely used quarter‑turn rotary valves in fluid control systems. Featuring a simple, compact structure, they effectively realize flow regulation and reliable shut‑off. The working principle is straightforward: the disc rotates 90° within the valve body. When open, it aligns parallel to the flow direction for low resistance; when closed, it stands perpendicular to achieve tight sealing and prevent leakage. This valve is equipped with a manual lever as standard. It can also be fitted with a worm gear operator, pneumatic actuator, or electric actuator to satisfy the control requirements of various working conditions.

Body Material: High-strength ductile iron (GGG40), internally and externally coated with fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) for superior corrosion protection. Disc Construction: Ductile iron disc with FBE coating—providing a smooth, durable surface that resists abrasion and chemical attack. Seat: Resilient EPDM liner, bubble-tight seal against the disc.

As the manufacturer, KEFA produce this valve in our dedicated large-diameter facility. From casting and coating to final assembly, every step is controlled in-house. Each DN1000 unit undergoes full hydrostatic shell and seat testing per EN12266 (or equivalent) before shipment, with test reports provided.
