Knife gate valves are equipped with sharpened blades that can effectively shear high-viscosity media under harsh conditions, making them particularly suitable for highly corrosive wastewater treatment and slurry applications. Acid-resistant stainless steel blades reduce corrosion and minimize maintenance requirements. These valves are designed only for fully open or closed service and shall not be used for flow regulation. They should be opened and closed slowly to prevent vibration, erosion and water hammer. Featuring full bore and bi-directional flow with no media accumulation cavities, they can be fitted with scrapers and deflectors to protect the packing gland. The removable top packing gland allows quick seal replacement without valve disassembly. Made of high-quality materials, they provide reliable sealing, stable performance and long service life.
