DN1000 butterfly valve is built for long-term reliability in large‑diameter water transmission and distribution networks. Manufactured to EN593 standards, U flanged butterfly valve features a flanged ductile iron (GGG40) body with FBE coating for excellent corrosion resistance. Its U‑section disc ensures optimized flow, low turbulence and reduced pressure drop, ideal for municipal water, power plant cooling and industrial systems. Fitted with EPDM seat for bubble‑tight sealing, it is operated by a heavy‑duty worm gearbox with position indication. Each valve is hydrostatically tested per EN12266 before delivery, making it a robust solution for water treatment plants and transmission mains.

U flange Butterfly Valve

U type butterfly valves are widely used quarter‑turn rotary valves in fluid control systems. Featuring a simple, compact structure, they effectively realize flow regulation and reliable shut‑off. The working principle is straightforward: the disc rotates 90° within the valve body. When open, it aligns parallel to the flow direction for low resistance; when closed, it stands perpendicular to achieve tight sealing and prevent leakage. This valve is equipped with a manual lever as standard. It can also be fitted with a worm gear operator, pneumatic actuator, or electric actuator to satisfy the control requirements of various working conditions.
