INTRODUCTION: AWWA C509 Outside Screw and Yoke Resilient Seated Gate Valve
Flange AWWA C509 OS&Y resilient gate valve is one type of rising stem gate valve according to AWWA C509, whose flexible wedge gate is coated with rubber NBR or EPDM. Its moving direction is perpendicular with flow. Gate valve can be only full open or full close. ANSI resilient seated gate valves are widely used in series of industries, especially in water supply projects, public works, water treatment plan, fire fighting, etc. KEFA VALVE can manufacture the AWWA C509 OS&Y resilient gate valve with sizes of 2”~48” (DN50~DN1200mm). Ductile iron OS&Y gate valves are mainly made of ductile iron and can withstand a maximum pressure of 2.5 MPa. The main media used are water, sewage, and waste water. -
