The API602 forged Steel OS&Y Gate Valve is engineered for critical isolation services in demanding industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, and high-pressure water treatment. Its outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) design provides a clear visual indication of the valve position and keeps the threaded stem outside the fluid chamber, enhancing durability and simplifying maintenance. The valve features a precision-machined wedge-shaped sealing surface for superior, leak-tight shut-off.
Constructed from forged steel, it offers greater strength, density, and impact resistance compared to cast equivalents, ensuring reliable performance under high pressure and temperature conditions. Available with multiple drive options including manual handwheel, pneumatic, and electric actuation, the forged steel valve provides flexibility and long-term service life in severe operating environments.
