Grooved butterfly valve (also known as grooved end/quick-install butterfly valve) is a center-line or eccentric butterfly valve with grooved clamp connection. Its valve body is equipped with grooves/flanges at both ends, which form a seal by squeezing the sealing ring when clamped tightly with the grooved pipeline via clamps, eliminating the need for flange bolts and improving installation efficiency by about 70%.
Ductile iron grooved butterfly valve features quick installation, easy maintenance and low flow resistance; the disc can rotate 0°-90° around the valve stem to realize medium on-off and regulation, with the center-line structure boasting the additional advantages of low torque and excellent sealing performance. Widely applicable to medium and low pressure working conditions such as water supply and drainage, fire protection, food and pharmaceutical industries, it is a mainstream valve for fluid control in municipal and light industry sectors.
