Pneumatic Double Eccentric Resilient Seat Butterfly Valve, with its unique double eccentric design, is increasingly used as a critical valve unit in large-scale water treatment pipelines. The valve body of the ductile iron double eccentric butterfly valve is made of high-strength ductile iron to ensure stable pipeline operation. Both the valve body and the disc are coated with epoxy resin via electrostatic spraying to enhance corrosion resistance.
The pneumatic actuator, as one of the primary drives for the butterfly valve, utilizes compressed air to drive a piston or vane, generating the force required to operate the valve. Equipped with pneumatic control components such as solenoid valves, positioners, air filters, and limit switches, it further achieves different control objectives. Pneumatic butterfly valves are widely applied across numerous industrial fields, benefiting from the stability, simplicity, and strong adaptability of their actuators.
Pneumatic double eccentric butterfly valves are mainly categorized into single-acting and double-acting types. Depending on the actual torque requirement of the valve, they can be paired with either piston-type or rack and pinion-type pneumatic actuators accordingly. In practical valve procurement, manufacturers will recommend different models of pneumatic actuators based on the valve's torque and intended application.
