The torque values listed in the table are obtained by measuring the dry medium in air at 20 ℃;
The parameter values listed in the table are the starting torque of the valve (when the valve plate and seat separate, the torque value decreases);
Torque values shown do not include safety factor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about double eccentric butterfly valves, including design features, materials, applications and performance.
What is a fully lined PTFE wafer butterfly valve?
A fully lined PTFE/PFA wafer butterfly valve is a corrosion-resistant butterfly valve with PTFE or PFA lining covering the internal wetted surfaces. The lining isolates the valve body and other metallic components from the process medium, making it suitable for highly corrosive fluids.
What are the main advantages of a fully lined design?
The fully lined construction provides excellent corrosion protection, reduces direct contact between the process medium and metal components, improves service reliability, and extends valve service life in aggressive chemical applications.
What media can this valve handle?
Depending on the lining material and operating conditions, it can be used for many aggressive chemicals, acids, alkalis, solvents, and other corrosive fluids. Actual chemical compatibility should be confirmed based on the specific medium, concentration, temperature, and operating conditions.
Can the PTFE lined butterfly valve be used for vacuum service?
No, Vacuum service requires specific consideration because fluoropolymer liners can deform or collapse under certain vacuum and temperature conditions. A valve specifically rated for vacuum service should be selected when negative pressure is present.
Can the valve be operated manually or automatically?
Yes. It can be equipped with a lever or gearbox for manual operation, or with pneumatic/electric actuators for automated operation. The actuator should be selected according to the valve's operating torque, pressure, temperature, and required safety function.
