SHORT DESCRIPTION: TILTING DISC CHECK VALVE WITH WEIGHT HAMMER

Tilting check valve with weight hammer, also known as the slow-closing butterfly check valve, is based on a horizontally installed eccentric flanged butterfly valve with the addition of a lever and counterweight to allow the valve disc to open as water flow increases. Furthermore, a hydraulic damping device is incorporated to enable slower closing of the valve disc, thereby preventing water hammer. As a result, the weighted tilt check valve is commonly used in long-distance transmission pipelines, pump stations, and other sections where water hammer is undesirable.

Tilting check valve with weight hammer primarily consists of a valve body, valve disc, sealing ring, and buffer device. It is mainly used in industrial water supply and wastewater treatment plants at pump outlets to prevent backflow of media in the pipeline system, eliminate water hammer, and ensure pipeline safety.
