wafer butterfly valve with stainless steel disc

The wafer butterfly valve featuring an Alloy 904L (1.4539) disc is engineered for extreme corrosive service in chemical processing, marine, oil & gas, and desalination applications. Its compact wafer-style design enables space-saving, flange-mounted installation without extra hardware, streamlining assembly, while the bare stem configuration simplifies actuator mounting and maintenance for seamless automation integration.

válvulas de mariposa

904L is a non-stabilized, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloyed with copper to resist strong reducing acids (e.g., sulphuric acid), stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Non-magnetic with excellent formability, toughness and weldability, 904L delivers unmatched corrosion protection—though high nickel/molybdenum content makes it costly, with 2205 duplex stainless steel often used as a low-cost alternative for less demanding applications. Lightweight yet durable, this valve balances superior performance with practicality for critical aggressive fluid handling systems.
