Wafer Type Butterfly Valve, Pneumatic Actuator

For butterfly valves with low torque, gear rack pneumatic actuators are usually selected. Pneumatic actuators can be divided into single acting actuators (spring return type) and double acting actuators. Pneumatic butterfly valves can be equipped with solenoid valves, positioners, limit switches, filters, handwheel mechanisms, etc. according to actual needs, excluding cylinders. Pneumatic actuators are inherently safe and explosion-proof, suitable for flammable and explosive environments, with no risk of electric sparks, and have lower costs than electric actuators. But it relies on a compressed air supply system and has low accuracy.
